Refund Policy

Online Payment Service

Blakewater Certus Solicitors clients may choose to make a payment in GB Sterling of a bill or place money on account of up to £2000 using our online payment system. Online payments using a UK registered Credit or Debit Card usually take 3 to 5 working days to credit Blakewater Certus Solicitors Client Account.

Blakewater Certus Solicitors online payment service will direct you to our designated provider who will process and take your payment. Please note payment details are not stored within our systems and any of your personal details held will be used in accordance with the relevant Data Protection requirements.

Blakewater Certus Solicitors are unable to accept payments from third parties online. Any payment made by a third party will be returned which may take up to 10 working days and could result in significant delays as well as additional bank and service charges.

Additional Terms

If payment is required for immediate use please contact us to discuss alternative methods of payment. Please note outgoing payments on your matter will not be made until Blakewater Certus Solicitors are in receipt of your cleared funds.

Blakewater Certus Solicitors will deal with requests for refunds under their Complaints Policy. Any refunds due on a matter where payment has been received wholly by Credit or Debit card will only be refunded to that card.

Blakewater Certus Solicitors will refund you in accordance with our terms of business agreement and code of conduct as regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Refunds cannot be made where the monies have already been used or allocated to satisfy third party expenses or for legal work that has been undertaken.

If for any reason you do not wish to use the online payment system, you can call the office on 01254 261515 in order to make the payment over the telephone between 9am-5pm Monday – Friday.
